Ingredients

  • Rice flour
  • Udad dal
  • Roasted chana dal
  • Asafoetida
  • Cumin seed
  • Sesame seed
  • Salt
  • Ghee
  • Water
  • Refined oil

Instructions

  • Roast rice flour and keep aside.
  • Roast udad dal and chutney dal separately. Grind separately.
  • Combine all the ingredients except ghee and mix well.
  • Now add ghee and mix well.
  • Make a smooth dough using Required water. Do not add excess water.
  • Put little of dough in a sevanazhi (press) and press murukku slowly to boiling oil deep fry till Golden brown. Turn occasionally.
  • Allow it to cool and store it to an air tight container.

Notes/Tips

Use fresh rice flour and lentils for good results.
