Instructions

  • First, add 1 cup of onion in a blender to make onion paste. For tomato paste: Grind tomatoes, 1/2 cup onion paste, ginger garlic paste, and cashews in a blender to prepare a paste. Preparation of Curry: Pour oil in pan, heat cumin seeds, chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder,fenugreek leaves and salt. Add remaining 1/2 cup onion,brown them then add green peas and mushrooms, cook for a few minutes until mushrooms slightly soft. In the same pan, add prepared tomato paste and sugar, simmer for 15 minutes. Turn off the heatpour some fresh cream to enhance its flavor. Again on the flame, cook on simmer flame for 2 more minutes, sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves, serve it hot.
