  • Mutton boneless
  • Slices onions
  • Green chilli
  • Garlic crushed
  • Ginger crushed
  • Clove
  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom
  • Black cardamom
  • Haldi
  • Kashmiri lal mirchi
  • Dhania powder
  • Jeera powder
  • Garam Masala
  • Coriander leaves
  • Yogurt

Instructions

  • Heat 3-4 tsp oil in a pressure Cooker and add clove, cinnamon, cardamom and black cardamom. Stir for 30 seconds till it gives a nice aroma.
  • Add onions and cook till they are soft and golden brown for 8-10 minutes on low to medium flame.
  • Add ginger and garlic and stir for 2 minutes on low heat.
  • Now add masala mix (put 1/2 cup water and add haldi, kashmiri lal mirchi, dhania powder and jeera powder). Cook till it leaves oil.
  • Add mutton pieces and fry for 2-3 minutes on high heat.
  • Add salt to taste and cook for another 8-10 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add yogurt and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Add some water and close the lid of pressure cooker. Wait for 4 whistles.
  • Open the lid after the steam is released and add garam masala and coriander for garnishing.
  • Serve hot with rice or rotis.
