  • 4-5 Large boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup finely Chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chilli
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 packet maggie masala magic (optional)
  • 1/2 cup maida or rice flour or cornflour for slurr
  • 2 tbsp cornflour or breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup mashed paneer
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Vermicelli
  • Paneer balls (small in size)
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Take a bowl, add the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green peas, chopped capsicum, green chilli, mashed paneer, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala, salt to taste, Maggie masala, 2 tbsp cornflour or bread crumbs.
  • Now the dough is ready, make lemon size balls from the dough. Coating for dough- in a bowl, add 1/2 cup maida or rice flour or cornflour ( your choice) , pinch of salt and some water and make paste. keep it aside.
  • In a plate take vermicelli, crush a bit. now dip each ball in the paste and roll it properly in the vermicelli to make nest pattern. Gently press from the center with the help of your thumb. Refrigerate these potato nests for 10-15 min before frying.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai, and gently fry the potatoe nests both sides on medium flame for about 6-8 minutes or they till turns golden brown in colour and remove to a plate.
  • To give a final nest look, Take a paneer , kned it for 5 minutes, take small portion and make small balls like birds egg. You can fry these paneer balls if you want.
  • Place the potato nest bites in service dish, put some green Chutney and garnish coriander leave, paneer balls/ egg and serve.
