  • Cloves beans
  • Turmeric
  • Dried red chillies
  • Shallots
  • Mustard
  • Oil
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Clean and wash the nithya vazhuthananga. Remove the white part and chop the green part of it length wise. Grind shallots and dry red chilly using a mixer grinder. Heat coconut oil in a pan, splutter the mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add ground shallots and dry red chilly into it and saute until a lovely aroma comes. Saute for 2 minutes. Add chopped nithya vazhuthananga pieces, turmeric powder, and mix well. Close with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 8 minutes. Stir it occasionally. Open the lid and stir-fry for a couple of minutes. Switch off the flame. Tasty Nithyavazhuthananga thoran is ready.
