Ingredients

  • 50 gm yellow split moong daal
  • 50 gm Oats
  • 40 gm Grated Paneer
  • 2 tsp yogurt
  • 1 chopped medium size onion
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • As per taste Salt
  • as needed Oil for shallow fry

Instructions

  • Let’s take moong daal in a bowl, add some water and soak it for 20-30 minutes. Now take a pan or wok, add soaked moong daal in it and then pour 300 ml water, 1/8 tsp turmeric powder, salt and boil everything until it gets little softer. Make sure do not completely mash it. Once its done, keep it aside.
  • Next, take a bowl, add oats, yogurt, grated paneer, chopped onion, coriander, salt, ginger garlic paste, 1/8 tsp turmeric powder, boiled moong dal and mix it well.
  • Now apply some oil on the palm, take the small portion of the mixture and make a Tikki. Apply this process to make for rest of the other tikki’s. Now take a fry pan, add some oil for shallow fry on a medium flame and place all the prepared tikki’s on it and fry them utill these get golden brown both the sides.
  • Now the tikki’s are prepared and serve them hot with the green chutney.
