Ingredients

  • 2 cup oats roasted and powdered
  • 1/2 cup semolina, 1 cup curd
  • 1 cup carrot grated ,1/4 cup coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon fruit salt
  • For tempering
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon urad dal
  • 1/2 teaspoon chana dal
  • 4-5 curry leaves sliced

Instructions

  • Take all the above-mentioned ingredients and mix everything well. Then keep adding water to get right consistency for your batter.
  • Rest the batter for around 20 minutes.
  • Now we will do tempering Take oil in a pan and then add all ingredients mentioned above for tempering. Mix it well.
  • Then add this into your batter. Mix everything well. Let ir rest.
  • Now grease the idli plate with oil and add the batter to the plate.
  • Place the steamer on medium high flame with water and let it come to a boil.
  • Plate the idli cooker in the steamer and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  • Now after the idli is cooked let it cool for a minute and remove it from the plate with help of spoon. Now your Pat's idli is ready to be served. ENJOYY!!
