- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chopped onion, salt and sauté it till onions are transparent. Then add green chillies, turmeric powder, chopped carrots, beans, tomatoes and cook it for about 2-3 minutes. Now add boiled masoor dal and mix it well. At last, add water, lemon juice, oats, mint leaves in the same pan and mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes. Switch off the flame and serve it hot.
