Ingredients

  • 20 oreos
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 250 ml milk
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (badam, pista, kaju, walnuts)
  • chocolate ganache

Instructions

  • Crush oreos into a powder and sieve in a bowl.
  • Next, add chopped nuts, baking powder and milk and mix very well.
  • Grease the cake tin well with oil and pour the prepared batter into it.
  • Put the tin in the steamer and steam for 40 minutes on medium flame first and then on slow for 20 minutes.
  • Once done, take it out and garnish with chocolate ganache, oreos and chopped nuts. it's done!

Notes/Tips

1. Make sure to add enough water in steamer before putting the cake in it as you cannot open the lid again and again to check. 2. It would better to cover the tin with aluminum foil before putting it in steamer so that condensed water doesn't ruin the top of cake. 3. To check whether the cake is done or not, use a toothpick or a knife. If it comes out clean, then it's perfect.
