- Wash all the lentils and boil the daal by giving 4-5 whistle
- Finely chop tomato, green chilli and grate ginger and roughly chop the garlic
- Take a pan add oil and Cumin seeds and add the chopped tomatoes and now add all the spices to them and saute for 2-3 minutes Next add the boiled daal
- Now mix them well and add some water and boil them for about 5-10 minutes lastly add Garam masala and squeeze lemon juice
- While serving add the tadka of oil/ghee by pouring Mustard, Cumin seeds, bay leaf and red dry chilli consume them with Jeera Rice and Paratha.
