Ingredients

  • Palak -1 small bunch
  • Rice flour – 4 cup
  • Besan -1 cup
  • Green chilli -5
  • Cumin seeds -2 tbsp
  • Carom -2 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds – 2tbsp
  • Salt -2 tbsp
  • Ghee or butter – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • Wash and remove the stalk of palak.
  • Take the palak and green chilli ,make smooth puree it may require 1/4 cup of water.
  • The other side keep ready rice flour, besan, cumin seeds, carom seed, sesame, salt, ghee and mix well.
  • Add palak puree immediately to the flour which keeps the green colour and mix well, if required adding little water make smooth dough.
  • Take dough into chakli maker and press to make small chakli of required size.
  • Fry the chaklis 4 to 6 at a time on both sides , the flame should be medium. Frying on high flame burns the murukku.
