  • Red chilli
  • Tamarind
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Chana dal
  • Mustard
  • Garlic
  • Methi
  • Hing
  • Turmeric

Instructions

  • Coarsely grind fresh red chillies after cleaning them. Clean tamarind and soak it in the coarsely ground chilles. Add salt and mix. Keep aside for 2-3 days. Grind it to a smooth paste on day 3 Prepare tadka using mustard, red chillies, garlic,curry leaves, turmeric and hing. Add grinded pickle to this seasoning and mix well. Relish with hot rice, idli, dosa or Upma.
