  • 2-inch cinnamon
  • 5 cardamom
  • 5 cloves
  • 3 star anise
  • 5-6 green chilles
  • coriander and mint leaves
  • 450 g paneer
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • ⅓ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • fried onions
  • ⅓ cup oil or ghee
  • ⅓ cup curd
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Orange food colour
  • mint leaves

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl take Add curd, turmeric powder, salt chilly powder, spring onion, mint leaves and mix well. Now add the paneer mix everything well. Let the paneer marinate for 30 minutes.Heat ghee in a pan and then add the biryani masala spices fry well. Add the Green chilly,onion,tomatoes and ginger garlic paste saute well.
  • Boil the rice with little salt and then drain the water. Add a layer of rice and a layer of paneer.Another layer of rice and the garnish it with coriander leaves and fried onions. Dum for 10-15 mins and serve hot biryani.
