Ingredients

  • Oil 1 tbsp + tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp
  • Whole spices 1 each
  • Ginger 1
  • Chilli green 2
  • Garlic cloves 4
  • Onion 2
  • Tomato 4
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Hing 1 /4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Garm masala 1/2 tsp
  • Kitchen king masala 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh cream 2 tbsp
  • Shallow fry panner 1 cup
  • Coriander for garnish

Instructions

  • In pan heat the butter and oil, add whole spices, ginger, Chilli, garlic, onion and tomatoes and cook it completely by adding salt and water. Cool at room temperature and make a fine paste and sieve it
  • In another pan heat oil and butter add cumin seeds and above paste and all the other ingredients in it and cook for 10-15 minutes
  • Garnish with coriander and serve it hot with roti, paratha, Naan or kulcha.

Notes/Tips

Whole spices means cinnamon stick, cloves, black pepper, black cardamom, bay leaf and star anise.
