- Soak 7-8 strands of Saffron in 1 tbsp hot milk and keep aside.
- Heat ghee and fry Dryfruits for a minute and keep aside.
- Heat milk in a wok and bring it to boil.
- Add in the saffron milk mixture and let the milk simmer on medium flame for 4-5 minutes till it thickens a bit. Now add cardamom powder and give it a stir.
- Add sugar and mix nicely.
- Add crumbled paneer and mix nicely. I have used homemade paneer.
- Cook for few minutes till paneer is cooked nicely.
- Add fried dry fruits and mix nicely.
- Paneer kheer is ready, garnish with dryfruits and serve hot or chilled.
