  • Tomato puree
  • Red chilli powder

  • Coriander powder
  • Fenugreek
  • Dil leaves
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Rice

Instructions

  • Take a pan, add oil, whole garam masala spices (bay leaf, cinnamon stick, star anise, mace, cardamom, cloves, biryani flower), chopped onion, salt as per taste, and saute it till onions are slightly transparent. Add cashew nuts, chopped green chillies, tomato puree to the above pan and cook it for about 1 minute. Later, seasoning it with red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder then saute for 2 to 3 more minutes. Now add chopped fenugreek leaves and dill leaves and mix it well Then add 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice, let it boil. In the same pan, add paneer cubes, soaked masoori rice to it and mix well. At last, cook it with closed lid for about 15 minutes. Delicious Paneer tomato methi biryani is now ready to serve.
