Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Fresh Ash gourd
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • To taste Salt
  • For mustard paste
  • 1 tsp jeera( cumin)seeds
  • 3 tsp mustard seeds
  • 4 tsp Dry red chilli
  • 2 spoon mustard oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 cup crushed garlic

Instructions

  • Peel out the fresh ash gourd and cut into small pieces.
  • Take a pressure cooker, pour chopped ash gourd, turmeric powder & salt
  • Cook it till one whistle comes.
  • Then take a kadhai, and add mustard oil.
  • When oil heats up, add mustard seeds, 2 whole red chilli,crushed garlic & saute until the raw smell goes away.
  • Then add mustard paste and saute it.
  • Add the boil ash gourd & cook it for 10 mins
  • Turn off the flame & serve it in a bowl
