- 1. Heat a Kadhai - add 2 Tbsp of any neutral flavoured oil/ coconut oil. 2. Once the oil is hot - add the tempering ingredients- mustard + urad dal + hing + green chillies chopped + curry leaves. Roads everything well for a minute until golden. 3. Now add the finely chopped onions and sauté for 2- 3 minutes, add in the grated coconut + salt + turmeric + red chilli powder. 4. Mix everything well and keep it aside. Right before you are about to serve lunch, crush the papad and toss it in the above mixture. 5. Yummy papad Thoran is ready!
