- Soak chana dal for 30 minutes. Take rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and chana dal in a bowl. Mix it nicely Boil water and butter together. Add butter water to dough and mix with spatula. Knead to smooth dough. Take small ball of dough and flatten it in parchment paper with your hands. Repeat the same for rest of the dough. Heat oil and fry . Fry them till golden and drain them in tissue. Allow it to cool down. Serve.
