Pasta Kheer with Nolen Gur

Ingredients

  • 700 ml full cream(Amul Gold) milk
  • 1 cup elbow pasta (macaroni)
  • 4 tbsp milk powder
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup date palm jaggery
  • 2 tbsp dry fruits chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Boil 1 cup milk till it evaporates and reduces to 1/4 th cup.Set aside.Boil rest of the milk adding milk powder.Boil in medium flame adding date palm jaggery and evaporated milk. Lightly roast almonds and cashewnuts.Cool and chop them.Add dry fruits to the boiling milk.
  • Meanwhile boil pasta in 2 cups water adding 1/4 th tsp salt.Boil till nearly done and strain water.Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and gently toss pasta for few seconds.Add pasta to the boiling milk and boil till kheer is nearly thickened. Add cardamom powder and raisins and stir.
  • Set aside to cool and refrigerate. Serve chilled delicious fusion pasta kheer with winter special nolen gur or date palm jaggery as an amazing after meal dessert to your loved ones or guests at parties or special occasions.
