  • Penne pasta
  • Ghee
  • Cashew
  • Almonds
  • Corn flour
  • Milk
  • Water
  • Raisins
  • Sugar
  • Cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Boil water in a pot. Once it starts boiling, add in the penne pasta. Let it cook till it is completely done but not mushy. This will take about 10 minutes. Now, strain the cooked pasta and keep it aside. Heat a pan with ghee, roast the cashews and raisins. Take out the roasted cashews and raisins. In the same pan, add in milk. Let it boil and the add the sugar. After sugar dissolves, add the cooked pasta and crushed cardamom. Let it cook for 5 minutes over low flame. Add two teaspoon of cornflour in a small bowl. Dissolve it in enough water. Add this cornflour slurry to the kheer. Mix well and let it cook for 5 minutes. Finally, add in the roasted cashews and raisins. Delicious pasta payasam is ready.
