Ingredients

  • 1/2 pieces beetroot chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 2 potatoes diced
  • 2 carrot diced
  • 1 capsicum finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp Pav bhaji masala
  • 1 tsp kashmir red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • as per taste Salt as required Coriander leaves
  • 4-6 pav
  • as required Water

Instructions

  • Take a pressure cooker to add one tbsp oil when it is heated add cumin seeds when they crackled add 1 tsp pav bhaji masala, tomatoes chopped carrot, potato, beetroot green peas, saute add salt. mix well. Add 2 cups of water. pressure cook for 2 whistles. released the pressure naturally. Keep this aside.
  • Take a kadhai, add 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter heat it add capsicum and onion roast for 2 minutes on high flame.add salt, pav bhaji masala.ginger-garlic paste, Kashmiri red Chilli powder, Kasuri methi. Green Chilli, coriander leaves, mix well. cook for 2-3 minutes. add lemon juice and 1 cup water.
  • Add cooked vegetables to this masala mixture.mix well. cook on high flame and mash with spatula or masher.
  • Heat a tawa add 1 tbsp butter, some coriander leaves, and cut the pav in middle. roast the pav golden brown. serve the pav with bhaji.
