- Soak black gram , pearl millet,rice for 3 hours
- After three hours,grind it into a smooth paste in a wet grinder. Add water to get a consistency as that of dosa batter.
- Transfer the above batter into a large vessel. Add salt and mix it well.
- Heat a cast iron pan or a flat non-stick pan over a medium flame. Smear some oil over it.
- Spread the dosa batter in a circular way on the pan.
- Cook the dosa on a medium flame. Sprinkle some oil on top and edges.
- Cook it till its base becomes golden and crisp. Now turn the dosa carefully and fry the other side also.
- Once it is cooked evenly, fold it carefully. Transfer it into a serving plate.
- Serve hot with coconut/avakaya ( mango pickle).
