  • 1/2 kg petha(pumpkin)
  • 1 kairi (kacha aam)raw mango
  • 1/2 tsp saunf/ fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp jeera /cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp methi dana /fenugreek seeds)
  • Pinch heeng/asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • To taste salt
  • As needed oil

Instructions

  • Cut petha in cubes and wash it.
  • Take a pan,heat the oil and add jeera and crackle.then add tomatoes and Cook for one minute.
  • After one minute add all spices and mix well.add chopped petha And stir.add 1/2 cup water and covered with lid.after 10 minutes open the lid and stir.
  • Add sugar and covered with lid For 5 minutes.after 5 minutes off the flame.petha is ready to serve.
