- Mix together flour, salt and oil in a bowl. Add sufficient water, little by little and knead into soft dough. Add little oil if required. Dust some flour and knead again. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside to rest for 10-15 minutes. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape each portion into balls, coat in flour and roll out into a phulka. Heat a non-stick tawa. Cook each phulka till brown specs are formed on the underside. Transfer to direct flame and let it puff. Remove from heat.and serve hot.
