  • Refined flour
  • Carrom seeds / Ajwain
  • Salt
  • Vegetables oil
  • Water
  • Boiled potatoes
  • Whole jeera
  • Crushed coriander seeds
  • Grated ginger
  • Kasuri methi/ fenugreek leaves
  • Jeera powder
  • Aamchur powder
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Chopped green chillies
  • Vegetables oil

Instructions

  • Take the refined flour in a bowl, add Ajwain, salt, and veg refined oil. Now mix them properly with your hands To get a crumbly texture.
  • Now add water little by little and make a tight dough. Now cover the dough with a muslin cloth and keep it at rest for 30 minutes.
  • For stuffing , mash the boiled potatoes. Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds,grated ginger, chopped green chillies And Aamchur powder. Saute them for 30 seconds
  • Now the mashed potatoes and nicely mix the ingredients together with the help of a spatula and saute them for 5-6 minutes until you get a nice masala potato mash.
  • Now, take the dough and divide it into 3 equal portions. Take one portion and roll it out into a thin sheet . Trim off the edges to get a square shaped sheet . Now spread 1/3rd of the potato mash over the sheet evenly.
  • And start rolling the sheet from one end to get a cylindrical shape. Now, cut the cylinder with one inch gap to get small Pinwheels shaped samosas.
  • Now, make a slurry of tbs refined and 1/2 cup water. Dip the Pinwheels one by one in the slurry and then deep fry them at medium t low flame for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Serve These awesomely delicious Pinwheel samosas to your mother on the occasion of mother's Day and make her feel special....

Notes/Tips

Serve the samosas with dhania chutney and tomato sauce.. Serve them immediately after frying To get it's amazing crunchiness... And don't forget to make an amazing cup of tea to accompany These spicy and crunchy snack.
