- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.Line some cupcakes tin with paper baking cups.Mix the melted butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.Stir in the egg and whisk the mixture properly.Add the milk and maple syrup and mix together.
- Then stir in the flour and combine the mixture very well.Scoop the batter into the lined tin cups and then sprinkle the fudge pieces on top of the batter.Bake the cakes in the preheated oven until the tops bounce back when pressed lightly.Also pierce the center of the cakes with a skewer, bring out and check if they are baked inside.Once the skewer comes out clean then the cakes are done but if it comes out sticky then continue baking until done.
- Bring out the baked cupcakes from the oven and allow to cool down.Set the plain cupcakes on a serving platter and serve as desired.
