  • Maida 1-1/2 cups
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Dry ginger powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cloves powder 1/2 tsp
  • Orange zest 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Vegetable oil 1/2 cup
  • White sugar powder 3/4 cup
  • Curd 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Orange juice 1/3 cup
  • Water 1/3 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Tutti futii 1 cup
  • Raisins 1/4 cup
  • Dry apricot 1/4 cup
  • Dried cranberries 1/8 cup
  • Prunes 1/8 cup
  • Almond 1/4 cup
  • Cashews nuts 1/4 cup
  • Walnut 1/4 cup

Instructions

  • For soaking Take mixing bowl add orange juice, water, lemon juice, tutti futti,raisins, dried apricot, dried cranberries and prunes. Soak for minimum 2 hours or till they are soft, maximum for 24 hours in a fridge.
  • Mix dry ingredients in bowl and sieve for 3 times Maida, cinnamon powder, dry ginger powder, cloves powder, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Wet ingredients Take mixing bowl mix till creamy texture vegetables oil, sugar powder and curd. At last add orange zest and vanilla essence.
  • Now mix dry ingredients and nuts in the wet mixture. Gradually add soaked mixture in it.
  • Now dust and line up the baking tin of ur choice, pour the mixture in it and bake it in preheated oven for 40 minutes at 150°C.
  • Remove from the oven allow to cool at room temperature. Garnish:- icing sugar or sugar powder.

Notes/Tips

U can use brown sugar also, for chocolatey flavour and colour cocoa powder can also be added.
