  • Plums
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Chilli powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves
  • Vinegar

Instructions

  • Place plums in a glass and cover with water. Leave for overnight. Next morning, rub the mixture and remove seeds. Add sugar, salt, chilli powder cinnamon and cloves and heat over low heat, stirring all the time to dissolve the sugar. Increase the heat and bring to a boil and let cook till thick. A drop dropped in cool water should set. Add the vinegar and simmer for about 5 minutes. When cool,store it in a air tightp jar and store.
