- Assemble all ingredients
- Wash poha very nicely and drain excess water.
- In a mixing bowl, add washed poha + semolina + salt + sugar + curd + ginger and mix well. Keep rest for 10 - 12 minutes.
- Now add grated carrot + baking soda + water and mix well. Add water gradually, It took around 3 tbsp water for batter.
- In Appe pan, grease each mould, pour 1 heaped tbsp of batter into each mould and cook till golden brown by covering. It takes around 4-5 minutes under low flame to cook.
- Flip the other side and cook for 3-4 minutes under low flame.
- Now poha Appe is ready.
- Serve with any of your favourite dip and goes very well with tea.
