- Firstly, wash the poha in a bowl twice and soak for 10-15 mins till it sofens.Strain the water completely. Add onions, red chilli powder, cumin seeds,rice flour/corn flour,gram flour, salt & coriander leaves, 3 tbsp oil. Mix & keep aside.
- Next in a pan, heat oil for frying. Apply bit of oil on both hands, make small balls of the mixture and pat it like a cutlet. Slowly drop it in the heated oil for frying. Fry patties in the medium flame, both the sides.
- Once it's down, transfer it on a tissue to remove excess oil. Serve when it's hot with coconut chutney or tomato sauce
