- Wash the pomegranate and cut it cross-wise into two halves. Then again quarter the pomegranate and peel off the skin to collect the pomegranate seeds in a wide bowl. Discard the white pith and collect only the seeds.Take the pomegranate seeds in a blender. Add 1/2 cup water, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar and finely chopped mint leaves.
- Pulse the pomegranate seeds till they have released their juice. Make sure that you do not over-blend or the seeds will get crushed and the juice will turn bitter.
