- Add salt and enough water to maida. Mix well to a pliable dough and keep aside for 30 minutes. Make small balls of the dough. Take a ball and make a round disc. Then take a knife and mark spiral roll on it. Then take it into hand and dab on it. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Add the prepared parottas and deep fry until crispy and golden. Remove and drain excess oil. serve hot with curry.
