  • Red chilli powder
  • Chat masala
  • Lemon
  • Salt
  • Maida
  • Corn starch
  • Bread crumbs
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Collect all the required ingredients. Take the mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl, Now add finely chopped onion, green chilli, and coriander leaves. Then add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala and lemon juice. Mix well to form a firm dough. Grease palms with oil and take the potato mixture in your hands. Make small balls of potato mixture, Make all the potato lollipops and place these on a plate. Potato balls are ready. Keep it aside. Take a plate and add maida, cornflour and salt. Make slurry by mixing it well. Now take another plate and add breadcrumbs, chilly flakes, and italian seasoning. Mix well and keep it aside. making the potato lollipop : Take one potato ball and dip it in the maida slurry. Coat the balls properly from all the sides. Once coated, roll it in the bread crumb mix. Place a frying pan and pour the oil to fry the lollipop. Heat the oil medium hot. Now add the potato balls one by one into the pan and fry them on low medium flame. Deep-fry until crisp and golden brown, turning occasionally. Drain these lollipops onto a paper tissue. Arrange the fried balls on a serving plate and insert toothpicks into each balls. Serve hot.
