- First take a pan, add ghee in it. Let it become hot, then add rava into it.
- Cook it on low to medium flame for about 8 mins. After 8 mins you will notice that the rava has started to turn golden in colour.
- Then add elaichi powder and dry-fruits to it. Fry them for about a min.
- Then add chopped banana in it. Mash it and mix it well with the rava.
- Cook it for few more minutes until it gets mixed well with the rava.
- Then add sugar in it. Mix it well and cook for 2 to 3 mins on a low flame.
- You will notice that the rava has turned little more watery now because the sugar has started melting now.
- Until the above process is done, boil the milk well.(measurement is mentioned above in the ingredients section). It should be completely hot while pouring it over the rava. Now pour this hot milk over the rawa mixture and give it a good mix.
- Now add some kesar strands and elaichi powder to it. Mix them well.
- Now cover the pan and cook it on a low flame for about 8 to 10 mins.
- After 10 mins open the lid, add some tulsi leaves in it. Give it a gentle mix.
- Now switch off the flame. You can serve it to Ganesh Ji as prasad or you can have it as it is. You can also prepare it for any pooja/occasion or even normally to your guests.
