- Finely chop beetroot, boil chopped beetroot and add salt + sugar + water (3/4 cup water) and boil for 5-6 minutes. Let it cool and grind into a smooth paste.
- Mix aata / maida + salt + oil + beetroot paste + water and knead a soft dough.
- Make small small balls of equal size from dough and roll out and give shape of puri.
- Now deep fry each Puri in sufficient heated oil and fry both sides.
- Puris are ready to serve, serve with any curry of your choice.
