- Take 50 grams of Purple Fruited Pea Egg Leaves.Nicely rinse and grind them to a fine paste.
- Now strain the paste , add 500 ml of water ,salt and add tamarind paste to it.
- Mix them well.Finely chop the garlic,chilly and shallots.
- Take a sauce pan.Add one spoon of gingelly Oil.
- Put some mustard seeds.When the mustard seeds splutter add the chopped shallots, garlic and red chilly and add the rasam to it.
- Serve it hot with a bowl of steamed rice.
