  • Coconut Sugar
  • Almond Butter
  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Salt
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Cooked quinoa
  • Baking powder
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Dry oats
  • Banana
  • Water

Instructions

  • Line a 9” square baking pan with parchment and set aside. Mix the dry ingredients (except the coconut and chocolate chips) together inside a large bowl.
  • Using another mixing bow, whisk the flaxseed meal and water together and allow to stand for about 5 minutes or until the mixture begins to to gel. Beat the banana, vanilla and almond butter. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ones and stir together
  • Fold in the coconut and chocolate chips Place the mixture on the baking pan and smoothen the top with a spatula.
  • Place the pan into a preheated oven at 180*C and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the mixture has started to turn brown and becomes springy to touch. Remove the pan from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan.
  • Once it has cooled down, place on a cutting board and slice into squares. Store or serve and enjoy!
