  • Ragi flour 2tbsp
  • Water2cups
  • Salt pinch

Instructions

  • firstly, in a small cup take 2 tbsp ragi flour. dissolve ragi flour in ½ cup water without forming any lumps. keep aside.
  • now in a saucepan boil 2cup water. once the water comes to a boil, add in dissolved ragi flour.
  • stir continuously keeping the flame on medium. the mixture thickens after 5 minutes and turns glossy after 9 minutes.
  • Add pinch salt , mix well and boil for 2mins.
  • Finally serve hot. Or else can b served with buttermilk

Notes/Tips

Sweet version :Also adding jaggery or sugar to hot ragi at boiling stage helps to dissolve them faster. Give a good mix after adding the sweetener. If you prefer milk pour pre-boiled milk. You can make it thin or thick to suit your preference.
