- Prehet oven to 175°C (160°C fan-forced). Line square cake tins n set aside.
- To make the cake batter, place the melted butter,flour, milkmaid,baking soda, baking powder into a bowl. Using a mixer, beat in the milk, vanilla, butter until combined. Beat for 5 minutes.
- Divide the mixture evenly between fourbowls. Using the food colouring, tint each bowl of mixture the colours of the rainbow
