Ingredients

  • Bombay Rava
  • Fresh Curd (Whisked)
  • Finely Chopped Onions
  • Finely Chopped Carrots
  • Finely Chopped French Beans
  • Finely Chopped Capsicum
  • Finely Chopped Green Chillies
  • Oil
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Curry Leaves
  • Salt
  • Water

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add the rava, curd and water (as required) and mix it to form a semi-thick batter.
  • To this batter add all the veggies along with some salt and mix it well (incase the batter becomes too dense you can add some more water at this stage).
  • Now let the batter rest for around 15 minutes (optional).
  • After 15 minutes, add 1 tsp of oil in a pan. Once hot enough, add the mustard seeds and curry leaves to the same and allow it to splutter followed which add this tempering to the batter and mix well.
  • Next, add some oil to the paniyaram pan. Once the oil is hot enough, with the help of a round spoon, pour a portion of the batter on each cavity in the pan and allow it to cook (on low to medium heat) until golden-brown.
  • Once cooked from one side, flip it and let it cook from the other side too.
  • Having cooked it evenly from both the sides, Rava Paniyaram is ready to be served!
