  • 1 cup Bombay Rava
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 tsp Raw Bengal Gram
  • 2 tsp Black Gram
  • 2 Sprigs Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 15 Cashew Nuts
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 cup Water

Instructions

  • Add Rava and Cumin Seeds to a pan and roast on a low flame until it gives out a nice aroma. It takes about 10 minutes for the Rava to turn aromatic.Heat oil in a pan, add Mustard Seeds, Bengal Gram, Black Gram and roast till they turn golden. Then add Curry leaves, Cashew Nuts, Green Chillies and grated Ginger and roast further.
  • In the seasoning, add Water and Milk and let it boil on a high flame.In the roasted Rava, add Salt and pour slowly into the boiling water, stirring all along.Mix Rava well and let cook for 5 minutes and switch off the stove. Let it rest for 5 minutes.Finally, add some Ghee, mix.
