  • Rice
  • Urad dal
  • Salt
  • Sooji
  • Sugar
  • Cardamom powder
  • Ghee
  • Water
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Wash and soak rice, urad dal for one hour, after that grind into a fine paste like thick dosa batter, add little salt and mix well, keep aside for 30 mins. Boil water and sugar in a bowl, once done add rava, elaichi powder, stir well and continue cooking until it thickens then add 1 sp ghee & mix well, turn off the heat and allow it to cool. When the stuffing is cool divide into small lemon sized balls and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan for deep fry, when hot dip the prepared balls in the ground batter & fry them in hot oil until light golden brown then take them out and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve.
