- In a pan, add a teaspoon of ghee and roast cashew nuts until golden, keep aside. Add raisins and fry until it fluffs up. Keep aside. Roast rava with the remaining ghee until fragrant. In a heavy bottomed vessel, boil 2 cups of water. Add salt, roasted rava gradually, stirring well. Cook covered in medium flame until soft. Add sugar, dissolve it and bring to boil. Add milk and mix well. Bring to boil, add roasted cashews, raisins and powdered cardamom. Mix well and switch off the flame.
