- In a deep bowl add 1 cup rice flour, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, 2 chopped green chillies, 1/2 inch grated ginger, 1 tbsp coriander leaves and 1 cup water. Mix well so that there are no lumps. Add one more cup of water and mix well. Heat a skillet on high heat. Add 1 tsp oil and spread evenly. Pour the batter on the hot skillet. Cook the dosa for 2 minutes on high flame. Add 1 tsp oil on the dosa and cook for 3 more minutes. Transfer the dosa to the serving plate.
