  • Rice flour
  • Salt
  • Carom seeds
  • Pepper powder
  • Oil
  • Chat masala

Instructions

  • Sieve rice flour in a bowl. In a big mixing bowl, add the sieved rice flour, salt, carom seeds, black pepper and 1 tsp oil. Mix well. Now add water in small portions and knead soft dough. For this we have used more than half cup of water. Collect the dough and make a dough. Grease the dough with some oil and wrap it with a thin polythene sheet or cling film. Now microwave the dough on highest temperature for 1 minute. When the dough gets little cooked and turns stiff, unwrap the dough ball and place it over a plate. Let it cool down for a while. Knead the dough until it becomes soft and smooth. Grease your hands with some oil and knead the dough well. From dough makes balls can be prepared. Take one dough ball and roll it out in a thin papdi. place the papdi between a polythene sheet and then roll it. Similarly roll out the remaining dough balls. Heat enough oil in a wok and slide 4-5 papdis into the hot oil. Fry the papdis on medium-high flame till it turns golden brown and crispy from both sides. Drain out the fried papdis on kitchen paper towels to remove excess oil and similarly fry all the papdis. Sprinkle chaat masala on these crispy and super delicious papdi's.
