Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup water\ 1/2 table spoon chilli flakes
  • 1/2 table spoon cumin seeds

Instructions

  • Soak rice in water for 24 hours and change water every 6-7 hours
  • Grind the soaked rice in a grinder until it forms a smooth paste How to check the paste's consistency: take the paste on the back of the spoon and divide into two portions; if the paste doesn't mix back together it's ready!
  • Add salt (according to your taste), half table spoon chilli flakes and half table spoon cumin seeds Mix them well.
  • Take a steamer and put water in it and put a thin layer of paste on the plate and put it on the steamer and cover it till it gets translucent
  • Take out the plate out of the steamer and remove the papad from the plate with the help of a knife and keep it on a clean surface and let it dry
  • Your papad is ready!!
