Notes/Tips

Macarons are very delicate and finicky French cookies. Sharing a quick snapshot of ingredients quantity below: (for 20 macarons of 1.5 inch diameter) 74g almond flour 118g icing sugar 60g egg whites 48g Castor sugar 2 drops of Gel colour (water based food colors are strict no no for macarons, it deflates the shells) Baking tips: Must use oven thermometer Macarons needs to be baked at 145C for 18 mins For baking use either silicon mats ot parchment papers.
