Ingredients

  • 5 Leftover Roti
  • 1 cup Sorghum flour
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • 1 cup Chopped Spinach
  • 1 cup Chopped Coriander
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 tbsp Green chilli - Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tbsp Asafoetida
  • 1/2 cup Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilly powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • as needed Oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • First slice the Roti's, then grind it in a mixer.
  • Take all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well, add water as required and make dough.
  • Now, apply oil on a plastic paper, put little dough on it, sprinkle sesame seeds, and make thalipeeth by tapping with watery hands. Make 4 to 5 holes in the middle of the thalipeeth with your finger.
  • Then heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and place the prepared thalipith. Then put oil in the holes of the plate and cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then, turn the plate upside down, cover the other side and bake for 3-4 minutes (until both sides turn golden brown).
  • So a Healthy Thalipeeth is ready. Serve hot with butter or yogurt.
