Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 11/2 tbsp oil
  • as required Water to knead the dough
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour for rolling the rotis
  • as per taste Salt (optional) I dont add salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl add the flour,oil and knead into a soft dough using little water at a time. Keep it aside for 10 mins. Divide into equal portions. Keep it covered. Take one portion and roll out in thin roti using little flour.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa on high flame,when hot place the roti gently on it. Cook it till small blisters appear on the surface. Flip the roti and cook it for a few seconds. Then flip it again cook till it puffs up. Repeat with the remaining dough portions to make the rotis. You can apply ghee or oil on the roti.
  • Serve with dal and sabzi
